Needham Junction, Massachusetts - Former New Haven RR Depot
Former New Haven Railroad station at Needham Junction. There is a milepost in the picture that tells us that we are 12 miles from Boston. Note that the siding down the track is protected by a modern 3 color light signal that is all red. We are looking toward Boston. The station was built in 1906. Unlike most stations on the MBTA commuter rail network, passengers here have a heated waiting room during the morning rush hour.
