BM-Railfan > In 1973 the Delaware and Hudson RR sent a special train to Montreal with exhibits. The train was powered by 2 of the D+H's famous Alco PA passenger engines. The location is Canadian Pacific's Windsor Station. Photo was taken on Sunday so the station is empty of commuter trains.
BM-Railfan > What is a D+H Alco PA doing in a B&M Album? The year is 1977, the railroad is the former Boston and Albany which has a new owner, Conrail. The MBTA did not like Conrail's asking price for operating commuter service. So this is a B&M train operated under contract for the MBTA over Conrail tracks with a leased Delaware and Hudson Alco PA locomotive
